Golden-era metal infused breakdowns with a DIY backbone - Kuld release debut single 'Blinded'
East Sussex newcomers ‘Kuld’ have quickly accelerated along the grassroots pathway, emerging in ’23 and effortlessly spreading their ear-ringing chaos across the local music scene – gravitating from the nurturing arms of Eastbourne Music Collective to wave-making performances at ‘Metal 2 the Masses‘ for the unmissable opportunity to play Bloodstock Festival – previously won by fellow Eastbourne companions ‘Chub‘ back in ’24 with their infectious chant-worthy antics. With 2025 spiralling into an already exciting series of strengths for the 5-piece, Brandon, Will, James, Lewis and Bruce are topping things off with the release of their debut release ‘Blinded’. This striking showcase of blood-curdling screams and jaw-dropping instrumental complexity is a tightly bound metal anthem drawing inspiration from the bands that shaped them, namely Trivium, A7X and SOAD – and if these bands are on your playlist, Kuld should be too.
'Think chaotic breakdowns, raw emotion, and enough grit to leave your speakers bleeding. It’s a nod to the bands that shaped us, but with a fresh production twist that brings it into 2025.'
With Bruce’s thumping double-pedal madness reinforced with grating guitar accents courtesy of James and Lewis – Kuld are crafting a bold sound defined by the mastery of their instruments. Hammered down with the throaty cries and mosh-fuelling screams of Brandon, ‘Blinded’ is a bold, and unforgettable debut which will be complemented with a release show on May 9th at Eastbourne’s Temple Bar. Returning to their roots, we predict sweat-filled angst and a sea of bodies clashing from start to finish – grab your tickets here!
‘Blinded’ is OUT NOW! After receiving early-access to the track, we can guarantee this is a MUST for your May radar – and is a definitive insight into the talent emerging from our neighbours in Eastbourne.
