With a supercharged EP and live show to match - this is RAFF ATTACK!

This week, our radar has detected a new entrant hailing from Brighton, bringing a captivating fusion of punk, rock, grunge and pop and shaking-up the grassroots landscape with their mysterious yet alluring soundscapes. We’re talking pounding drum beats intertwined around synth-heavy melodies that jumps from gritty to bright in a flurry of activism-fuelled fury. 

To commemorate the long-awaited release of their EP ‘Thoughts and Prayers’ (release date TBC), David, Tim, Alan, George and Goose will be making their move at Brighton’s favourite shoebox haunt ‘The Pipeline‘ on November 14th, taking the EP to the live stage and getting crowds talking on topics both current and thought provoking.

We were granted access to an early and exclusive listen of ‘Digital God’, a track featuring on the upcoming EP that addresses religion, war and the surge of surveillance and control through technology. The unavoidable nature of tech and how it is woven into our day-to-day lives is the main message here, with a karaoke worthy chorus to get crowds bumping shoulders and chanting along. An impactful message paired with a brain-itching hook sets a strong tone for the remainder of the EP, which will feature three additional tracks named ‘One Shot’, ‘Badge of Honour’ and ‘Can’t Speak’.

Behind the tracks, the 5-piece pull together expertise from an array of Brighton-based projects, including Dark Cinematic Psych Rock outfit ‘Something Leather‘, Indie Dance duo ‘Fruity Water’+ much more!

November 14th will see Raff Attack joining forces with the playful sounds of Skull Diggity, who have made waves in local bars with their reimagined covers of classic tracks from Dr Dre to Chic.
