Gritty, heavy, danceable - meet LUZZ

The members of LUZZ have navigated the local live circuit for a number of years, and their latest iteration is set to propel them into a stratospheric frenzy of releases, packed venues and ear-twitching soundscapes reminiscent of early Royal Blood and The Amazons. With two readily-released tracks setting the foundations for the direction and intentions of the 5-piece newcomers, its clear to hear the influence and raw energy from the first few seconds.

‘TANGO’ and ‘NUH UH’ are the products of music-loving friends navigating their way through something new, a project that has ushered them into the spotlight with grit and attitude at the front wheel.

‘NUH UH’, the latest offering from LUZZ, contains all the elements for a thundering alt-rock ballad – building a wide, spacey soundscape of reverberating, screeching guitar and layered vocals sitting at the back of the mix,  while Kelans powerful vocal delivery takes centre stage. 

The tracks catchy lyricism leaves listeners drawing their own interpretations, without taking itself too seriously:

‘I suppose it’s about people everyone loves but you think they’re narcissistic. I was listening to Hollaback Girl at the time so that probably had something to do with it’
