Elandra x Rankd

The genre-blurring goodness of Elandra
Brighton alt/indie duo Elandra will release their new single Days, Years & Months on the 25th of September 2025. The track builds on the band’s signature sound, combining punchy drums and prominent bass with layered vocals, textured guitars, and vocal effects reminiscent of Demon Days-era Gorillaz. The result is a fresh, dynamic take on a psychedelic-influenced style, drawing on the rhythmic drive of Tame Impala and the melodic character of Empire of the Sun. We’ve received an exclusive sneak-peek into the track + upcoming antics from the outfit…
Elandra have made their mark through live shows at venues including Green Door Store, Hope and Ruin, and The Prince Albert in Brighton, as well as appearances in London and Portsmouth. Their debut album Right Wrong is set for release on 1 May 2026, with Days, Years & Months providing the first glimpse of the record.
Lyrically and visually, Days, Years & Months reflects Elandra’s core identity, showing a creative push-and-pull between two sides of the same person. In the upcoming music video, songwriter and producer Paolo Siviero and bassist/co-producer George Seymour-Cole embody this duality. Paolo represents the unknown, fluid, and natural, while George represents precision, control, and structure. Both wear sunglasses, which serve as a subtle metaphor for guarded vulnerability and the tension beneath the surface.
With Days, Years & Months, Elandra introduce the next stage of their music, exploring a more experimental sound while remaining rooted in a psychedelic-infused alt/indie style.
You can catch Elandra live at several upcoming shows, including Rossi Bar with Change the F**king Records on 3 October, Horatio’s Bar for the Brighton Italian Festival on 4 October, Daltons for the Season Change Ball on 18 November, and The Wedgerooms in Portsmouth supporting Elephant Kind on 18 February 2026. More information on those set to be announced via their Instagram page over the coming weeks and months!
