Pterosaur Kite – the debut single from ‘alligatr’

Brighton-based newcomers ‘alligatr’ make their long-anticipated introduction with ‘Pterosaur Kite’, a debut single that showcases songwriting maturity, complexity and unmistakable flair that fuses playfulness and authority into a tightly-wrapped lead track. Complemented by a mesmerising visual identity, the quartet are hitting the ground running as they slowly unmask and their sound and immerse listeners in the ethereal world of alligatr.

Inspired by the atmosphere and storytelling tradition of End Of The Road Festival, ‘Pterosaur Kite’ explores the frustration of feeling stuck while watching others move forward. The track captures the tension between self-reflection and comparison, turning those feelings into a vivid, imaginative piece of songwriting integrity.

The single arrives ahead of alligatr’s debut Brighton headline show at The Folklore Rooms on Friday 26th June, with support from Lana Deathray and Aly. Tickets are available here, but don’t expect them to stick around for too long!
